Due to the success and popularity of the Playground Inspection Training, we are planning another training day at Gunthorpe Village Hall on Thursday 10th June 2010.

The training will cover the following:

Outside in the playground:
Hands-on, basic inspection and maintenance, accessibility with regard to requirements of the standards, DDA and a brief feature on wheeled sports.

Indoor presentations and discussions:
• Playground management, legislation, standards and guidance
• Risk assessment, risk management and the benefits of risk in play
• Playground inspections and maintenance
• Disability Discrimination Act
• Playground notices
• Coping with accidents

On completion of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance which will be issued on behalf of RoSPA. This will give evidence of the playground provider’s commitment to health and safety on their playgrounds.
