Getting unemployed youngsters back into work.
RCAN JobsRural Community Action Nottinghamshire (RCAN) is soon to be working in partnership with Enable on one of their latest projects, Future Jobs.

Future Jobs is intended to help people registered with Job Centres. Eligibility is strictly available to 18-24 yr olds who have been unemployed for 6 months or more.

Initially RCAN will have nine vacancies - four vacancies with the Cornerstone Angling Skills Training (CAST) as Environment and Coaching Assistants, one with the Rural Bassetlaw Befriending Scheme (RBBS) project as an Admin Assistant, one with the Rural Officers team as a Rural Assistant, one with the Admin team as a Communications and Admin Assistant, one with the Purple Zebra branch as a Communications and Admin Assistant and one with the Wheels to Work (W2W) Project as an Assistant. They are all for a maximum of 6 months in the first instance, and paid at £5.80 ph. They are all for 25 hrs per week.

People interested should register with their local job centre, and ensure they are eligible. They will then obtain a letter of eligibility from the Job Centre, and can apply for the posts. People need to look on the Jobs Centre website to see the jobs available.
